Recreational sightseeing program "South Caucasus" with MCS AlexClimb and Bezengi Guides
The recreational program "South Caucasus" of MCS AlexClimb mountain School includes visiting of the most famous historical and natural attractions of Georgia: Borjomi resort - the source of the famous mineral water, unique in its incomparable beauty resort area Abastumani where we can bath in the natural hot springs. Vardzia - the ancient monastery complex, totally carved in the rock massif. Mtskheta - the center of the religious and cultural heritage of Georgia, ancient cave city Uplistsikhe and of course the solemn memory of the soviet times - the museum of Stalin in Gori. Also we take short walk in the historical center of Tbilisi deepen into the atmosphere of the old town.
The part of the "South Caucasus" program, held in Armenia - surely is not less filled with bright impressions: After crossing the border we head to the area called Dilijan - which because of its specific pine forest mountain landscapes also is called "Armenian Switzerland" - there we undertake a walk in the area of prehistoric caves Lastiver with unique frescos, on the fallowing day we go round the pearl of Caucasus - Sevan Lake and visit one of oldest monument of the Armenian architecture - the Sevanovank. Naturally, two important historical monuments are not remain without attention, as they are located close to Yerevan - Geghard Monastery, which stores the remains of the spear, which, according to the legend, which caused the mortal wound to Jesus, and as well Garni temple complex - unique structure of pre-Christian pagan era. This program ends with the easy ascent to the summit of Aragats - the highest mountain in Armenia - that part crowns the exceptionally interesting sightseeing program with the active and beautiful mountain walk - as the Aragats climbing route is one of the easiest, especially during the summer time.
This 7-day program "MCS AlexClimb Jeep tour in the South Caucasus - Georgia-Armenia" was developed for people who have no experience of being in the mountains or mountain climbing. The program is an exciting recreational autotravel which does not require from the participants to possess any special skills and physical conditions. In the programs of this category short (one-day) trekking and mountain climbing routes can be included.
First Principle of MCS AlexClimb

Professional Guides lead the group, the highest quality certificated equipment and the most modern navigation equipment are used. This guarantees the highest possible level of your safety in the mountains, which is the most important side of our work. As for Kamchatka programs - in addition to our climbing safety issues, the armed ranger accompanies the group to protect participants from too close contact with the wild life.
Program Schedule

Sightseeing mountain program "South Caucasus" - Georgia and Armenia
Sightseeing jeep tour, basic level
Day 1 - Arrival, meeting at the airport in Tbilisi, moving to Borjomi, short relaxing walk in the National park, overnight in the hotel (B & B)
Day 2 - Transfer to Akhaltsikhe, visit the Akhaltsikhe fortress (XVI c.), transfer to Vardzija, visiting the historical complex of Vardzia (XII century.), Transfer to Abastumani village, overnight at the hotel (B & B)
Day 3 - Visiting of the hot springs of Abastumani, transfer to Gori, visiting the cave city Uplistsikhe (II century BC.), visiting the museum of Stalin, transfer to Mtskheta, sightseeing tour, transfer to Tbilisi, evening walk around the city. Overnight at the hotel (B & B)
Day 4 - Crossing the border with Armenia, driving to Dilijan, walking tour to the Lastiver cave with ancient frescoes (X c.), Walk to the waterfall, overnight at the tourist camp in comfortable two-bed rooms
Day 5 - Sightseeing tour around the lake Sevan, with visiting of the Sevanovank monastery (VI cent.), Transfer to Yerevan, overnight at the hotel (B & B)
Day 6 - Visiting Geghard monastery (IV c.), visiting the pagan temple Garni (I c. BC), driving to the foot of Aragats route, the mountaineering shelter accommodation.
Day 7 - Climbing the top of Aragats early in the morning, descent and drive to Tbilisi, overnight at the hotel (B & B)
Day 8 - Transfer to the airport, return international flight

The price of the "Jeep tour South Caucasus Georgia - Armenia", season 2020:

You have to be ready for:
- 7 day of non stop moving;
- Constant change of environments;
- Carrying a 5-8 kg backpack when climbing Aragats and while trekking;
- Air temperature can be down to -5°C on the altitude higher than 3000 m while climbing Aragats;
Conditions: understanding of the difficulties of auto-travel, being ready to surpass the possible inconveniences connected with the very active schedule of the program
The price includes: Professional guide - driver services, hotel accommodation, transfers from the point of the beginning of the program to its end (Tbilisi), using the communal basic medical kit, food for outdoor part of the program.
The cost does not include: Georgian and Armenian visa charges (if necessary), International and domestic flight expenses to and from the point of the beginning of the program (Tbilisi), obligatory travel insurance, restaurant food and drinks while being in cities, using the satellite phone.

And from the return - all troubles and accidents in our sport come from nonprofessionalism, from ignorance or neglect by elementary standards of safety, from irrational motivation, from revaluation of own forces and opportunities. All these prerequisites we COMPLETELY EXCLUDE in our work - ours Rock-climbing, Ice climbing and Mountaineering are based on one Principle - the Safety Priority. In rock-climbing, mountaineering and ice climbing, the Priority of Safety of MCS AlexClimb-is your personal security and comfort irrespective of, than we are engaged - we train muscles and we work technology of the movement in the sports hall and on the rock climbing wall, we make the way through snowstorm to top or we relax on golden sand of the Caribbean beach after hot day of trainings on rocks. The Safety priority - the main credo of School of mountaineering and rock-climbing of MCS AlexClimb.
AlexClimb Rule #2 - Leave No Trace
Closely interacting with Nature, working with the active programs in mountains, woods, lakes and rivers, we perfectly understand the importance of carefull and respectfull bahavior towards the Nature, for its resources. From the very beginning of our outdoor-activity we adopted rules of Leave No Trace technique - the standard of behavior of the person accepted in all the civilized world in relation to environment and especially - to the wild nature. After all on the relation of people to the nature near which they exist, itself can draw dalekoidushchy conclusions on the relation of these people to... Where and as we didn't travel - we don't reserve any garbage, we try to reduce whenever possible our influence on environment to a minimum. We clear earlier zagryazyonny tourist parking of the left garbage, we take out and we take out to utilization places that to us other people left there. We consider that only thus, at personal individual consciousness of each citizen, each tourist, climber or autotraveller, we will be able to keep the nature surrounding us in its state, natural, suitable for life, - in it pledge of the healthy future for ourselves and our children.
