Mount Ararat, located in Turkey, almost on the border with Armenia - is the most famous peak in the world. Not because of its rather modest height, not because of the complexity of its climbing routes ... But we can say, the beginning of all modern history, was possible due to this mountain - Ararat. Many legends associated with biblical events are connected with the name of that mountain. Nothing can be said definitely, too much time passed since then, but for some reason it is easy to believe that in ancient times, it was just that mountain, to which slopes, covered with volcanic ashes the Noah Arc has approached, and it was the stoy of how our ancestors rescued from the Grat World Flood.

mountain climbing
dates:
05 Jun - 12 Jun 2026
An easy educational alpine program consisting of a training module on iceclimbing and alpine rockclimbing (granite), as well as two ascents of the initial level of complexity to the tops of Andyrchi and Kurmychi (Elbrus region). The program includes an optional climb to the summit of the MNR, accessible to participants with advanced skills in rockclimbing. The entire block of the program compactly fits in a 9 day format and is held during the summer period. The peculiarity of this program can be called the localization of the camps on the route - in contrast to previous versions of this program, in this program we raise the camp to the VCSPS pass or even higher - to the summit of Andyrchi 3900 meters, which gives the participants an opportunity not only to test themselves in a noticeable high mountain region, but also admire the incredible views of the sunset and dawn from a very well located sightseeing point, from which you can see the whole array of Elbrus and most of the Main Caucasian Range. The program is available for participants who do not have climbing experience and do not have medical contra-indications for exercising sport activities and being in the high mountains.
