Fitzroy climbing

You have to be ready for:

• Climbing the route of the top difficulty. The risk and physical load levels are high enough;
• Camping life in the field conditions;
• Cooking your meals by yourself while climbing mountains;
• Carrying a 20-25 kg backpack;
• Air temperature can be down to -20°C on the altitude higher than 3000 m;

The price of the Fitzroy climbing program 2023 from: 2000 Euro. Is to be discussed

Conditions: previous climbing experience, good physical form. 
The price includes: Professional mountain guide services, rent of the communal equipment (ropes, belaying and navigation equipment, cooking gear), hotel accommodation, transfers from the point of the beginning of the program to its end (El Calafate), using the communal basic medical kit, local registering and climbing permits, food for outdoor part of the program.
The cost does not include: Argentinian visa charges, International and domestic flight expenses to and from the point of the beginning of the program (El Calafate), obligatory climbing insurance, rent of the personal equipment, food and drinks while being in cities, using the satellite phone.

Program Schedule

The AlexClimb South America Argentina Patagonia Fitz Roy 3405 m climbing schedule (Patagonia 2023)

Guided climb of Mount Fitz Roy 3405 m in Patagonia 
Technical mountain rockclimbing, master level

Day 1 - Flight from Buenos Aires to El Calafate, overnight at the hotel (B & B)
Day 2 - Transfer to El Chalten (regular bus), camping accommodation
Day 3 - Preparation of necessary documents, rest, walk to Lake Sierro Torre, overnight in a camping
Day 4 -Transfer to the beginning of the Fitz Roy route, walk to the Laguna de los tres and further to Paso Superior, overnight in the bivysacs
Day 5 - Climbing up to the Brech de los italianos bivouac, setting up the high camp, overnight in the bivysacs 
Day 6 - Climbing Cerro Fitz Roy 3405m, descent to the high camp, overnight in the bivysacs
Day 7 - Spare day
Day 8 - Spare day 
Day 9 - Spare day
Day 10 - Spare day
Day 11 - Descent to laguna de los tres, return to El Chalten, overnight in the camping
Day 12 - Departure to Calafate, overnight at the hotel
Day 13 - Flight to B Aires, overnight in the hotel
Day 14 - Transfer to the airport, return International flight
