Climb of the volcano Kluchevskaya Sopka is not particularly  difficult technically - the complexity of the program is different. This hard and challeging, climb of Kluchevskaya sopka can be compared to climbing of seventhousanders - extremely hard and long ascent, inability to get a preliminary acclimatization - these factors are the main challenges for the ascension of Kluchevskaya Sopka. In addition, it should be remembered that Kluchevskaya Sopka - is an active volcano, which erupted constantly - in the scientific sense of that - only lava flows from it not every year. In that too, there is a certain specifics of the program - in the event of an unforeseen increase the activity of volcano climbing may not take place for objective reasons. There were cases when the climbing of Kluchevskaya was not possible even in the case of a small activation of volcanic processes - temperature of the cone of volcano rises and because of that begins a continuous rockfall. In other words, getting ready for the ascent to Kluchevskaya Sopka, we must be prepared for any eventuality - that's Kamchatka.

Our coming Far East expedition - climbing the most interesting volcanoes of the Kuril Islands, the base camp is organized on the boat. For ascents, the group lands on the island for 1-2 days, after the ascent, returns back to the boat and sails to the next island. This combined program includes an interesting route along the Pacific Ocean, with a visit to the most inaccessible corners of the Kuril Ridge and climbing the most significant and highest volcanoes. Easy ascent to the summit of a volcanic dome, situated between gigantic cone of Klyuchevskaya sopka and massif of Krestovsky volcano. An easy ascent to the Avacha volcano located near Petropavlovsk Kamchatsky. The ascent route of Avacha volcano is not difficult as the mountaineering route, the height of volcano is less than 3000 meters - the factor of lack of oxygen at this level normally is not felt yet. Climbing Avachisky volcano can be recommended as a warm-up or recreational climb - in good weather from the top of Avacha volcano you can get beautiful views of the nearby volcano Koryaksky, Petropavlovsk and Avacha Bay.

Not far from the main city of Kamchatka - Petropavlovsk Kamchatsky, there are two volcanoes, which are traditionally called "home volcanoes". Classical route of Dykh Tau - The North Ridge - for the first time was climbed in 1888 by Austrian team under the command of the famous climber of these times - John Garford Cokkin. Until our time the route did not loose its attraction for the climbers of the highest competence and is one of the most serious and beautiful climbing possibilities the Main Caucasus can offer. The route is classified in the Russian grade system as 4a which is comparable with AD+ in European system. The North Ridge of Dykh Tau is long, mixt, objectively dangerous route. Climbing volcano Krestovsky in Kamchatka, or as it is also called - Flat Middle volcano is a program of the initial level of complexity that can significantly diversify the whole climbing program in Kamchatka. Generally, climbing the volcano Krestovsky can be included in the program along with the ascent of the nearby volcano Kluchevskaya sopka - but should be careful not to overestimate your climbing potential - despite the relatively low height, the volcano Krestovsky can be quite serious climbing object! Nothing can be said definitely, too much time passed since then, but for some reason it is easy to believe that in ancient times, it was just that mountain, to which slopes, covered with volcanic ashes the Noah Arc has approached, and it was the stoy of how our ancestors rescued from the Grat World Flood.
